Lorena Allas studied Fine Arts in the Complutense University in Madrid (1986). Her track record is extensive, showing her development as artist over time. She created abstract pieces of art that have travelled across the globe: from Japan to the USA, from Germany to the United Arab Emirates. Wherever she exhibited, in every culture, she always delights the souls of her public. Her works are a reflection of her personality…passionate, sensitive, loving, full of energy and vitality. Senses and emotions rule her work. Fear, love, seduction, energy, power, are both universal and intimate subjects that make her connect to her audience.
As she likes to describe it herself, her works are “containers of experience”, as mirrors in which each of us can see the answers.
Close examination of the Zen imprints in her beautiful harmonious paintings produce feelings of peace and relaxation.
Exclusively for this exposition in Martin’s Atelier, Lorena has put her machinery of talent at work to create a new series titled “Under the Protection of the Sky”. She filled her senses, feelings, experiences while travelling through Australia and where she found the inspiration for this new series.
Lorena will also bring samples of her powerful and dynamic sculptures to the exposition. These uniquely formed objects combine forged and welded stainless steel with wood, silver leaf, photos and polyester.
